RSH - Retained Miniature Series

In type RSH, the balls are held in place by a retaining plate, and do not fall out if the LM block is removed from the rail.  Because of its compact design, RSH is better suited for high-speed motion than other designs.  As well as achieving unlimited stroke length, the RSH slide can ensure high rigidity in all directions when combined with large diameter balls.
In THK's Z type slides, the use of resin in some parts of the LM block has reduced block mass by as much as 30% in comparison with conventional RSH slides.  Type RSH-Z is therefore a low-inertia type, and achieves smooth movement with low running noise.
